I’m going to take this to the Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives and see if it’s something I could donate. Thanks for thinking of us when you saw it, Ron, and for sending it to me! ... Get out of your studio and into the great outdoors on Sunday, June 27! Local artists and photographers are invited to meet at 9 a.m. at the Bohemian Sage Gallery in downtown Excelsior Springs, then caravan to Cooley Lake, 8 miles south of Excelsior Springs. Bring a bag lunch and your own painting supplies. The past meets the present in the Cooley Lake Art Show, part of the local celebration during the Missouri Bicentennial Year (1821-2021). Any work of art inspired by Cooley Lake may be entered in Excelsior Springs Museum & Archive’s Bicentennial Art Show beginning Aug. 13.
