Happy Thanksgiving! The Museum is closed today and Friday, but we'll be open for Small Business Saturday this weekend! In 1949, the C&R Cafe at 309 S. Thompson Avenue was open on Thanksgiving Day, with waitresses Ora Lyons, Norma Brock and Inez Holder serving customers. The owners were Gladys Rawlings (cashier) and C.R. “Bud” Rawlings (cook).
